Exhibition on war memories in HCM City
PANO - The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, in association with the management board of Hoa Lo Prison Historical Relic in Hanoi, on March 21 opened an exhibition titled Tim Lai Ky Uc (Finding Memories).
The exhibition aimed to mark the 44th National Reunification Day (April 30) and the 46th year of the release of the last American pilot in Hanoi.
The exhibition showcases 250 photos, documents and artifacts featuring four themes: Facing B52, Hilton - Hanoi, Coming Back Home, and Building the Future.
Particularly, the exhibits recreate the struggle of people of Hanoi and Hai Phong during the 12-day historic campaign against US B-52 bombers in 1972, and the stories recalled by returnees from the frontline of both sides.
In addition, visitors have a chance to learn more about the war through a photobook Tim Lai Ky Uc (Finding Memories), which was introduced during the exhibition.
The exhibition lasts till this May.
