PANO – 112 paintings and 112 photos about historical Long Bien Bridge of 50 Vietnamese and international artists from the US, France, Belgium, Denmark and the Republic of Korea are on display at an exhibition, “Long Bien Bridge – The Bridge of Arts”, opened in Hanoi on May 18th.

The displayed, collected from arts festivals from 2008 to 2010 to mark 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi, feature the bridge of history, love, war and peace, hope and dreams in different aspects.

The scrulpture, “Original eyes”, by sculptor Tran Duc Quy, symbolizing a green and peaceful Vietnam attracts the attention of visitors.

Jointly organized by Maison des Arts and Heritage Space, the exhibition is to mark the 15th anniversary of Hanoi's recognition as the “City for Peace” by the UNESCO and 112th birth anniversary of Long Bien Bridge.

During the exhibition, there will be talks to work out measures to preserve and improve the bridge in accordance with sustainable development.

The exhibition will run until June 25th.
