Exhibition highlights 50 years of implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament
PANO - The organizing panel of the celebration of major holidays in Ho Chi Minh City opened an exhibition to mark the 74th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - 2019), National Day (September 2, 1945-2019) and 50 years of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament (1969-2019) on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street on August 15.
On display there are more than 340 photos featuring the basic contents of the testament, including the thought of national independence in couple with socialism, building a ruling Party, revolutionary ethics, high respect for people, promotion of democracy, and care for people’s living standards.
All-out efforts of Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee, authorities, and people in surmounting difficulties, the obtainment of great achievements in different fields, bringing in positive changes to the city named after President Ho Chi Minh were also featured in the exhibition.
The one-month long exhibition will take place at the same time in different places in the city, such as on Dong Khoi Street, at the Labor Cultural Palace, and at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House.
