The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an awards ceremony for Mitsubishi Asian Children's Enikki Festa 2010-2011 Contest and a Logo Contest for ADB’s Annual Meeting on January 19th in Hanoi

The organiser received 19,851 paintings from children nationwide for the Contest. According to Deputy-Minister, Le Tien Tho, the contest was an opportunity to encourage children to bring their creativeity into life and feature their feelings about their surroundings in paintings.

Along with A prize winners, other prizes for 35 individuals and organisations were also presented at the ceremony.

For the logo contest, the logo of Khue Van Cac in the middle, surrounded by stylised lotuses and the highest petal of lotus shaping Vietnam’s conical hat, designed by Pham Tam from Ho Chi Minh City, was selected as the official logo of the ADB’s annual meeting to be held in Vietnam.

The logo contest is part of events promoting the meeting as well as the image of the capital city of Hanoi among international friends.
