PANO –The Embassy of Denmark will organise a Danish Film week 2011 in Hanoi Cinematheque from December 2nd-7th and in IDECAF (HCM City) from December 1st-6th.

The Danish film week is a part of various cultural exchange activities to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Denmark.

Six of the best films of Danish cinema over the past ten years such as “Pelle-conquering people”, “Candidate”, “Things No One Knows”, “An Apple and a Worm”, “Five Obstructions” and “In a Better World” will be screened during the week to give Vietnamese people a better insight into Danish cinema.

Audiences can also meet Danish film director, Jorgen Leth during the opening of the film week on December 1st in HCMC and on December 2nd in Hanoi, during the screening of his documentary ‘Five Obstructions’.
