The photo-book, whose author is Dr. Michael Waibel - a researcher and lecturer on urban development at Hamburg University, Gemany, was published in three languages: German, English and Vietnamese. With 600 photos and special articles, the book brings different views of the city, taking the theme of “green growth” (or sustainable development).
The photo-book is a result of the author’s research project for many years under the auspices of Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) within the framework of the initiative “Research for sustainable urban development in the future”, as well as a series of workshops that the author jointly held with the Goethe Institute.
