PANO – A Culture and Tourism Week to highlight the beauty and cultural and historical values of terraced fields in Mu Cang Chai district and ethnic people in mountainous province of Yen Bai will be held in the district from September 25th to 30th.

Accordingly, various interesting activities, such as a fashion show, a local market with typical products, cake-making contest and a trade fair will take place in different places from Tu Le commune, Van Chan district to the centre of Mu Cang Chai.

During the five-day event, part of activities to mark the 57th founding anniversary of Mu Cang Chai district and World Tourism Day (September 27th), there will be tours for visitors to discover beautiful terraced fields in the locality.

Mu Cang Chai district has been famous for stunning terraced rice fields of the H'mong people and become one of tourism attractions of the province in particular and the country in general.
