Cultural village to host activities in celebration of Uncle Ho’s birth anniversary
PANO - A wide range of activities to celebrate the 130th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh will be held at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Vinaculto) in Dong Mo area of Kim Son commune, Son Tay town, Hanoi.

Some 80 people from 12 ethnic minorities will join this program which is themed “May in commemoration of Uncle Ho” and is scheduled to open on May 4 and last till the end of this month.
During the program, ethnic minorities in the North, Central Highlands, and South will tell stories about Uncle Ho’s revolutionary career in Cao Bang, the establishment of revolutionary bases in Northern mountainous provinces, and the care of lotus ponds at Khmer pagodas.
In addition, an exhibition with rare documents and objects will help viewers have a deep insight into President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary life.
The program also includes artistic items with typical musical styles from Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnam. The works praise Uncle Ho, the people’s spirit of solidarity, and Vietnamese people’s love for the great national leader.
