The Jrai ethnic people usually hold a Yang worship ceremony when moving to a new communal house or restoring the old one. The Jrai believe that it is a good chance to express their deep thanks to god and pray for heath, peace and prosperity for the village.

In June 2020, the Jrai ethnic people from Ia Pa district, Gia Lai province re-enacted the customs of moving to the new communal house at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Son Tay town, Hanoi.

Below are photos featuring the worshiping ceremony.
