The burial place for the remains of King Ham Nghi has been submitted to Thua Thien-Hue’s People’s Committee, said Director of Hue Ancient Capital Reservation Centre Phung Phu.

Ham Nghi King’s remains which were transported back to Vietnam from France will be placed in Dong Khanh King’s mausoleum, near the mausoleum of Ham Nghi’s father in Thuy Xuan commune (Hue City). The place was chosen under the will of Nguyen Phuoc Toc ancestry administration board.

The burial service will be held under Vietnamese tradition and current law.

According to Mr Phung Phu, Ham Nghi’s mausoleum will be constructed following the ancient architecture style with stelae and temple for ceremonial proceedings, and castle wall.
