Art program to celebrate VPA’s founding anniversary
PANO – The People's Army Newspaper will organize the fourth music gala, themed “Forever Singing Marching Songs," on December 17 at Au Co Art Center in Hanoi. The program will be broadcast live on Hanoi Television Channel H1.
This annual event is part of the activities to mark the 30th anniversary of the whole people’s defense festive day and the 75th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) and of the General Department of Politics.
At the program, the audience will review the 75-year establishment, combat, and development of the VPA and the General Department of Politics. It is an opportunity to honor the tradition of protecting the Fatherland of the Vietnamese people and popularize the beautiful image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
Together with vivid clips, the audience will be entertained with famous songs, performed by renowned artists and singers, such as People’s Artists Quang Tho and Thu Hien, Meritorious Artists Viet Hoan and Hong Hanh, singer Anh Tho, singer Bui Le Man, and artists from the Army Theater.
The program has three parts, including “For the people’s freedom and happiness,” “Songs of solidarity,” and “The Fatherland is calling.” They will help participants understand more about the guidelines and defense posture in the new period.
On the occasion, the organizing panel will present gifts troops to encourage them to firmly safeguard national sovereignty.
