Former Vice State President, Chairwoman of the foundation and the club Truong My Hoa, Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Service Rear Admiral Vo Van Yen and Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command Major General Bui Quoc Oai attended the event.
Last year, the foundation and the club carried out numerous activities in support of ethnic minority students, needy fishermen, border guards, naval troops, COVID-19 front-line forces and children orphaned by COVID-19.
During the event, the participants exchanged with outstanding collectives and individuals who accompanied and stood side by side with the foundation and club in granting scholarships to needy students, constructing bridges in rural areas, assisting locals in fighting COVID-19, among others. They also talked with recipients of scholarships from the foundation and club as well.

Apart from that, the participants were also entertained with impressive art performances and music compositions.
On the occasion, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Foundation presented scholarships, worth VND 30 million each in five years, to 130 COVID-19-hit students in 17 Southern localities.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee also presented certificates of merit to 22 groups and nine individuals in recognition of their great contribution to the foundation's and club’s activities.

Also at the exchange, the foundation and club received over VND 67 billion donated by units and individuals for their future activities.
The organizers of the program took this occasion to present lunar New Year gifts to troops of naval, coast guard, border guard units, troops and islanders of Hoang Sa island district in Khanh Hoa province, and disadvantaged fishermen, as well as ethnic minority students.
