PANO – The 9th National Congress of Young Writers opened on September 28 in Hanoi, gathering 112 outstanding young writers nationwide.

The two-day congress was a good opportunity for the Vietnamese Writers’ Association and departments in charge of development of culture, literature and arts to see the picture of young literature and listen to opinions from young writers throughout the country. With all they have learnt from the congress, the association and departments will roll out programs, activities and suitable mechanisms to better support young writers in developing the national literature.

As part of the congress, two seminars themed “Young literature-Start and Creativity” and “Young Poetry-Tradition and Reform” were held together with a poem party entitled “Harmony of September”.
