3D virtual museum opens in Con Dao
PANO - The Vietnam Military History Museum in collaboration with the Political Department of Military Region 7 on January 15 opened a 3D virtual museum of the Con Dao Museum, and held an exhibition showing photos of current events and activities of troops of Military Region 7.

The museum displays thousands of documents, including movies, pictures, songs, music works, books, research projects on Vietnam’s history, collected and compiled by the Vietnam Military History Museum, Naval Museum, Southeast Region Armed Forces Museum, and Museum of Military Region 9. This also features 12 typical military monuments in the past struggles for national liberation, recognized as national historical sites.
All the images and data of the electronic museum have been integrated and arranged to systematically introduce the entire history of building and defending the nation of Vietnam while confirming and underscoring the leading role and great contribution of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh to national liberation in the past, and current national construction and defense of the Fatherland.
The Vietnam Military History Museum will continue to establish more 3D virtual museums in Truong Sa (Spratly) Island, Southwest Cay island of Truong Sa district in Khanh Hoa province, and Phu Quoc island district in Kien Giang province.
