The 2013 Vietnamese trade village fair, which featured around 200 booths from 26 provinces and cities across the country, was held in the central city of Hue.

The fair, hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in cooperation with Thua Thien-Hue provincial authorities, introduced industrial, electrical and IT products, agricultural materials and consumer goods.

Around 50 booths showcased the province’s crafts including traditional brocades, silk flowers, paper flowers and wood carvings, as well as its trade villages.

Other activities also took place at the fair, including art performances, programmes associated with village life and production, and workshops on crafts, Hue’s trade villages and tourism development.
