15 Vietnamese artists to take part in 1st Asian Youth Fine Arts Festival

The 1st Asian Youth Fine Arts Festival, to take place from September 22-27 in Shenzhen, China has so far drawn the registration of 57 countries across the world. 15 artists under the Central Light Music, Dance and Song Theatre will represent Vietnam at the festival.
Vietnam’s delegation will bring to the festival unique, typical performances such as monochord solo by artist Ho Hoai Anh accompanied by dance groups and music, “Mua bay thap co”, sung by singers Luu Huong Giang, Thai Thuy Linh and Tuan Anh.
People’s Artist Tran Binh, Director of the Central Light Music, Dance and Song Theatre, said that the festival aimed to promote harmonious communication information in the region. Taking part in the festival are young Asian young artists who reflect their country’s cultural specialties.
Currently, the theatre’s artists are rehearsing 5 shows, two of which are to compete in the festival and the remaining are for exchange only.
The festival will be hosted by Beijing Television, a member of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).
The opening night is to take place in Interlaken Theatre in ShenQuan city while the closing ceremony will be organised in the open-air of “One window looking out the world” Park.
