PANO – The Vietnamese pavilion at the World Expo 2010 will be named “1000 years of Thang Long – Ha Noi”, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The World Expo 2010 with the title “For the sake of a better city, better life” will be held in Shanghai, China from May 1st, 2010 to October 31st.
According to officials, Vietnam will introduce beautiful images of its people and country; highlighting its capital city, the city for peace, with its 1,000-year culture to international friends via the showcasing and activities at the expo.
The ministry also hoped that the event would be a good opportunity for Vietnam to universally introduce and promote the Great Celebration of the 1000th Foundation Anniversary of Thang Long-Ha Noi.
