Rice seedlings to be sent to Laos after disasters
Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue has asked the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to supply 300 tons of rice seedlings from the national reserve as a relief aid to help Lao people restore production in the post-natural disaster time.
The ministry was required to transfer the stock to Laos in accordance with legal regulations.

Some 82,460 families with 236,188 people in 79 districts of 14 provinces of Laos were affected by floods after tropical storms Son Tinh and Bebinca brought torrential rains from the middle of July to the middle of August.
Flooding caused by the storms left at least 46 dead, 97 missing, and four injured in the neighboring country.
