Principal of Indonesia’s President University Chandra Setiawan expressed hope to welcome more Vietnamese students during a graduation ceremony in Jakarta on May 28.

The ceremony was held for over 750 students, including 10 from Vietnam.

At the event

Setiawan, in his speech, hailed Vietnamese students as dynamic, intelligent and active in activities.

Vietnamese students are able to take international-standard courses in economics, public relations, foreign trade and information technology, which are all taught in English and last for 3-4 years.

Nearly 40km from Jakarta, President University sprawls over an area of 400ha in Jababeka industrial park.

With six faculties and 12 training programs, it is home to over 10,000 students, including those from China, Vietnam, Venezuela, Thailand, the Republic of Korea and the U.K.

Scholarships are presented to Vietnamese students each year. In peak times, around 200 Vietnamese students study at the university.
