From the very first days in Ho Chi Minh City, he could feel the festive and solemn atmosphere spreading throughout the streets as the city prepared for the grand parade. Vibrant red banners and fluttering national flags adorned the city, and rehearsal sessions were held with great seriousness and energy. All of this made Captain Micky Keosouvanh clearly feel the spirit of unity, national pride, and the profound gratitude of the Vietnamese people toward the heroic past of the country.
“What impressed me most was the harmonious coordination between the armed forces and the people in preparing for the parade. Every step, every gesture, every sound was meticulously rehearsed. This was not just a ceremonial event, but a time for the Vietnamese people to recall the glorious history and honor the generations who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence and freedom. The atmosphere was both solemn and emotional, making even a foreigner like me feel my heart beat faster with every step of the marching formations,” Micky Keosouvanh said.
