On this occasion, PM Chinh proposed that both sides work together to find mutually acceptable and reasonable solutions serving the completion of the demarcation and marker planting on the remaining 16% of the shared border, thereby building a peaceful, stable, and sustainably cooperative border area.
He also called on Cambodia to pay due attention to resolving the legal status of people of Vietnamese origin in Cambodia so they can lead stable lives. Both countries, he suggested, should create the most favorable conditions for each other's citizens and enterprises, helping to foster mutual prosperity and strengthen bilateral friendship.
