The two leaders witnessed the signing of several memoranda of understanding (MoUs), notably an MoU on rice trade cooperation between the two governments, under which Thailand agreed to sell Singapore up to 100,000 tons of rice annually.

Others include an MoU on capacity development for public health leaders in elderly care in urban areas; and another on carbon credit transactions, in which both sides agreed to promote knowledge and technology exchange on clean energy and support Phase 2 of the Laos-Thailand-Malaysia-Singapore Power Integration Project to advance the ASEAN power grid.

In addition, the two sides agreed in principle the enhancement of cooperation in labor, security, the fight against transnational crime, and various multilateral cooperation issues.
