The meeting, themed “ASEAN-China cooperation on industrial and supply chains,” provided an opportunity for experts and scholars from ASEAN member countries and China to discuss, share, and propose strategic solutions to facilitate deeper involvement of stakeholders in the supply chain, promoting the production and consumption of goods.

In the first working day, eleven presentations were delivered, focusing on new trends in the shift of global industrial and supply chains. The discussions analyzed the impacts on the economies of China and ASEAN countries, highlighting opportunities and challenges in the new context.

Participants also exchanged views and provided recommendations to further promote cooperation between ASEAN and China.

In the second working day, delegates conducted a field survey at Da Nang Port, and discussed cooperation opportunities in transportation, logistics, and import-export sectors between ASEAN and China.
