The agency confirmed that tremors were felt in both Bogor and Depok cities, causing minor damage to some houses in Bogor, about 60 kilometers from Jakarta. It noted that as of April 11 morning, four aftershocks were recorded.

Three earthquakes were recorded in Solok, West Sumatra province, on April 8, attributed to movement and activity along the Suliti fault.

The BMKG affirmed there is no tsunami risk and urged residents to stay away from cracked buildings as they could collapse in the event of aftershocks.
