VNPT ensures telecom structure at APEC 2017 Economic Leaders’ Week

Accordingly, they actively supplemented equipment and upgraded configurations of base transceiver stations to ensure smooth communication in all places where events of the Week are organized and at all of the delegates’ accommodations. Over 200 4G based transceiver stations were installed for the event.

At the International Media Center, VNPT installed transmission cable lines with a total length of 10km, a number of high powered equipment and electric generators, together with an advanced broadband structure.

The group also installed around 300 cameras across the city to help the police observe traffic and people movements, and ensure order and security during the Week.
