PANO – The Ministry of Information and Communications, in collaboration with the municipal People’s Committee of Hai Phong, on March 29th opened an exhibition displaying historical evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos on Cat Hai Island.

On display at the exhibition are around 100 maps and various documents published in Chinese, Nom (ancient Vietnamese writing), French and modern Vietnamese writing, affirming the sovereignty of Vietnam and reflecting the country’s administrative management and its protection of sovereignty over the two archipelagoes.

The exhibition aims at raising the public’s awareness and encouraging Vietnamese nationals to protect the national territory.

The exhibition will run until April 1st.
