The event featured 150 maps from Vietnam, China and some Western countries. Materials presented included: 60 maps and posters printed by Hiflex material; four atlases issued by the London Propagation Mission for the Qing dynasty in 1908 and issued by the Republic of China in 1917 and 1933 respectively; 19 official documents of the Nguyen dynasty; and 23 ancient bibliographies and Han - Nom documents.
This historical evidence proves Vietnam’s undeniable sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel Islands) and Truong Sa (Spratly Islands) archipelagoes.
