The name “Bien Ho Che” comes  from the combination of a lake and immense tea fields in the locality. Bien Ho Che is also the first tea plantation established by French people in Gia Lai province in the early 20th century. The tea fields are  in the north of Bien Ho (also known as T’Nung lake). They are some 13km from Pleiku city. Photo: Quang Ngoc Tonkin.
