Sam Mountain is in Chau Doc city, Mekong delta province of An Giang.

Along the path leading to the top of the mountain, there are various pagodas, temples and shrines. Among them, the most famous places in the Sam Mountain tourist site are the temple dedicated to the Local Tutelary Goddess, Tay An and Phuong Dien Pagodas and Thoai Ngoc Hau tomb.

From the top of the mountain looking down, tourists can see golden rice fields surrounded by a system of canals and a number of green trees, fertile fields, good fruits and flower blossoms.

Normally, after worshiping in the pagodas and shrines, tourists often climb up Sam Mountain for sightseeing and releasing birds, a nice feature in the Vietnamese culture that helps protect the environment.

Here are some photos of the Sam Mountain.
