PANO – What used to be a busy destination for visitors, Hoi An ancient town, has become tranquil and quiet due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here are several photos from the album “Quiet days in Hoi An streets” taken from July 30 to August 7 by photographer Do Anh Vu, who is living and working in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I have lived in Hoi An for years, so I know the city in great detail. In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic, I still walk the streets every morning to capture all moments of local daily life,” said photographer Do Anh Vu.
To prevent the spread of the COVID-19, locals always wear face-masks in public places, regularly check their body temperatures, keep personal hygiene and wash their hands with soap.
