Hon Kho in Hai Dong village, Nhon Hai commune, Quy Nhon city is also known as Hon Kho islet. Hai Dong village is also often called Nhon Hai fishing village. From the city's center, visitors must cross Thi Nai Bridge to reach a T-junction before turning right and going straight to Nhon Hai fishing village.

As a key tourism destination in Binh Dinh province, Hon Kho island is about 20 km from Quy Nhon city where visitors can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, diving to see coral, playing adventurous games, and having fresh seafood. They can also rent a boat or canoe at cost of VND 300,000 to 500,000 for a group, or VND 50,000/turn per person. Visitors have a chance to take in a panoramic view of the amazing island and eat fresh seafood when the boat anchors to a floating raft in the middle of the sea.
