Five beautiful beaches on Phu Quoc island
PANO – Phu Quoc island is a popular destination for domestic and international tourists, including numerous beautiful beaches of Sao and Khem, Mong Tay and May Rut islets.
Sao Beach
Considered as the most beautiful beach on Phu Quoc island, with its white sand, crystal clear water, the beach is about 25km from Duong Dong town. The beach attracts a number of tourists by its beauty and hospitality of locals.
Khem Beach
This is an arc-shaped sandy beach, located quietly and peacefully between the two dark green forests. Tourists choose this destination because of the serene fishing village scene, along with interesting activities like kayaking, fishing in Tien Well, catching squid at night, with prices ranging from VND 200,000 to VND 300,000 per person.
Ong Lang Beach
Ong Lang Beach is divided by a series of cliffs. The sea is clear and greenish-blue. Depending on seasons, the water may be calm or rough.
Mong Tay islet
Mong Tay (Fingernail) island is about 14km from Phu Quoc island and is described as Maldives paradise of Vietnam by its blue water, and white sand. To get there, tourists can go by air or by ship to Phu Quoc island and then using boats to get to Mong Tay island. There, tourists can enjoy swimming, fishing, snorkeling or diving to see coral.
May Rut small island
It takes 10 minutes to go to the May Rut island from Mong Tay island, off 10km southwest of An Thoi town. This pristine island has a relaxing beach, attracting tourists by its blue warm water, sandy beaches, and delicious food.
