Exploring Hai Ba Trung Temple in Me Linh (Hanoi)
PANO - Hai Ba Trung (Trung Sisters) Temple is a special national historical relic in Hanoi’s outskirt.
At present, there are 103 places to worship Hai Ba Trung and their generals in nine provinces and cities across the country.
Hai Ba Trung Temple is located in Ha Loi village, Me Linh commune, Me Linh district, Hanoi. The temple is a place of cultural and spiritual activities of local people. It reminds the locals, as well as visitors, of the two national heroines Trung Trac and Trung Nhi.
Every year, Hai Ba Trung Temple Festival takes place in the first month of the lunar New Year.
The festival consists of several rituals such as incense offerings, commemorative meetings and traditional rituals.
However, this year due to the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hai Ba Trung Temple suspended the ceremony to mark the 1982nd anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising to ensure safety for people.
PANO would like to introduce several photos featuring Hai Ba Trung Temple in Me Linh district, Hanoi.
