Visiting Den Cong communal house

Nearly 6km from central Uong Bi city, Den Cong communal house is more than 700 years old and was built on an earth mound where the order to open fire in the famous Bach Bang battle against Mongol invaders was made.

After the victory in 1288, General Tran Hung Dao prepared offerings for four gods who showed him in his dream the way to win over the enemy and named the communal house Den Cong.
