Over the past years, taking advantage of the potential of culture, land and people, Vinh Phuc’s tourism sector has made breakthrough steps.
Currently, the province has more than 1,300 historical and cultural relic sites, including three special national ones. It is also famous for eco-tourism and resorts. Tam Dao town has been honored as the world's leading town destination in 2022. Vinh Phuc's golf course system has entered the top five most popular golf courses of the year. Especially, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has recognized Tam Dao as a national tourist site.
As reported, the number of visitors to Vinh Phuc has increased rapidly in recent years. Particularly in 2022, the province has welcomed more than 8.2 million tourists, an increase of 400 percent year-on-year, exceeding the plan by 2.5 percent. The tourism revenue has reached over VND 3,2 trillion, up 200 percent compared to the previous year.

The conference aimed to popularize the image of Vinh Phuc people and landscape, cultural values and specific tourism products. It was an occasion for local tourism enterprises to seek opportunities to cooperate with counterparts in Southern provinces, especially in Ho Chi Minh City.
In order to boost tourism development, Vinh Phuc has accelerated tourism promotion activities, popularized safe and friendly destinations via cultural, sports. and tourism events, media, fairs, tourism exhibitions, among others.
Meanwhile, the province has promoted new tourism products and services to attract visitors and prioritized tourism investment projects, focusing on several types of tourism with potential and competitive advantages, including eco- and cultural tourism, resorts, MICE tourism, festivals, golf tourism, to name but a few.
