Vietnamese and Finnish teams kick-start DIFF 2023

Performances at the opening ceremony, themed “Peace for mankind,” drew a picture of friendship, solidarity, and peace and brought sublime moments with lights and music to the audience. 

After a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fireworks lovers are now able to witness the magnificent displays of light and sound along the Han River, creating a familiar and dazzling "feast" for the eyes.

At the opening night, the host Vietnam’s performance, under the theme "Da Nang – The Sound of Peace," told a story of peace and friendship, while the Finnish team, expressed high emotions and deep love for life in their performance, themed "Igniting the Heart."

This year’s edition, themed “The World without Distance," scheduled to take place from June 2 to July 8, sees the participation of eight teams from the U.K., Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, Finland, and the host Vietnam.
