PANO - Those who are interested in architectural heritage and traditional arts of the Khmer ethnic minority group in Hanoi should visit this pagoda.

Located in an 0.8 hectare plot in the Cultural Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups in Dong Mo commune, Son Tay town, Hanoi, the pagoda was designed to imitate K’Leang pagoda in the Mekong Delta.

It is the 454th Khmer pagoda in Vietnam but the only in Hanoi, symbolizing the culture, religion and belief of the Khmer ethnic minority.

The majority of the Khmer people in Vietnam live in the Southwestern region, particularly Soc Trang and An Giang provinces.
