Ninh Binh province landscapes to be recognised as special national relics

PANO – The Ninh Binh provincial People’s Committee is working with central agencies from September 10^th to 13^th to organize various activities and a ceremony to mark the 40^th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention on the World’s Culture and Natural Heritage Protection, and to receive two certificates to recognize the historical and cultural relic of Hoa Lu ancient capital and Trang An-Tam Coc-Bich Dong Landscapes as special national relics.

The event will include various interesting cultural and tourist activities, such as the seminar, “Convention 1972 and sustainable development”; “Combining Convention 1972 with human and biosphere program” and a photo exhibition on the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.

The event aims to popularize the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex among experts, international organisations and members of UNESCO, and to call upon them to support the recognition of the complex as a world heritage site.
