This is part of activities to enhance tourism e-marketing and welcome the 57th founding anniversary of the tourism sector (July 9).

The website provides information and images of tourism destinations across the nation as well as updates tourism events, festivals around the year, lists of hotels and tourism agencies, tours and heritage sites in Vietnam.

The website, launched by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism

(VNAT) in December 1997, is now available in seven languages, namely Vietnamese, English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Russian.

An Online Tourism Day will be launched in Ho Chi Minh City by VNAT and the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM).

It aims to draw attention of all stakeholders to online tourism while promoting connections between tourism enterprises and those in the fields of information and communication technology, e-marketing, e-payment, and insurance.
