More tourism activities to take place in Thua Thien – Hue province
PANO - Tourism activities will be held in Thua Thien - Hue province to attract more tourists on the occasion of Reunification Day, April 30, and International Labor Day, May 1.
Traditional trade festival
The highlight of these activities is a traditional trade festival, themed “Quintessences of Vietnamese Vocations”, to take place in the ancient imperial city of Thua Thien – Hue from April 28 to May 2. This is a cultural and economic event aiming to enhancing the position of the ancient imperial city of Hue, honoring the heritages’ values, improving the efficiency of traditional industries’ production and business.
On this occasion, others activities will also take place in the city such as art exhibitions, culinary festival, Korean Film Festival, exchange programs between the popular artists and more. Especially, the second Hot Air Balloon Festival will be held at the Ngo Mon Gate (Noon Gate) in Hue Citadel with the participation of many countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Thailand, France, Malaysia, Korea, Switzerland, Japan and Vietnam.
