The program attracted the participation of over 1,000 local youths.

During the program, the command’s Lach Ken Border Post, in coordination with Nghi Xuan district’s Youth Union Organization, presented 400 notebooks and 1,000 pens to needy students.

Cleaning up and collecting garbage along the beach

In addition, 400 national flags and 50 photos of Uncle Ho were also handed over to islanders in the communes of Xuan Yen, Xuan Thanh and Xuan Lien.

Besides, the participants also joined hands to clean up and collect three tons of garbage along the two kilometers of the beach.

* Earlier, youths from Commando Brigade 83 of the Navy and Da Nang city's Tho Quang ward joined a clean-up activity along several streets in the city.

Accordingly, 75 youths collected and sorted out 10 tons of waste.

The program was in response to the Vietnam Sea and Island Week 2020 and World Oceans Day 2020, contributing to protecting the environment.
