Dr. Do Tuan Minh, Chairman of the ULIS Council, noted that this is the first time ULIS has launched a program dedicated to teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language. Teaching Vietnamese as a foreign language is one of the school's strengths. In the context of international integration, promoting Vietnamese culture abroad is essential.

Dr. Tran Huu Tri, Dean of the Faculty, added that the program addresses the growing demand for learning Vietnamese and exploring Vietnamese culture, especially from international businesses and over six million overseas Vietnamese. A unique feature of this program is that, from the third year onward, Vietnamese and international students will study together, fostering community connections, improving learning outcomes, and promoting the Vietnamese language.
