Nearly 2,500 students in Ho Chi Minh City will be offered free train and bus tickets to return home to celebrate the Tet festival with their families.
On February 5th, the Ho Chi Minh City’s Centre for Student Assistance will also hold a farewell ceremony, jointly organised by HCMC’s Student Assistance Centre in conjunction with the Youth Newspaper and Omo, for students in the city.
The same day, around 400 students, unable to return home during Tet, will receive a New Year’s present worth VND500,000 each, through the Spring Tree programme jointly held by HCMC Student Assistance Centre and the Long Thanh Golf Club.
In addition, the centre and Q-Mobile will hold a New Year’s Eve Party to present gifts, worth VND200,000 each, to 1,000 students on February 9th.
