Representatives of the sponsor testing the saltwater filters |
They were among the ten filters presented to drought- and salt intrusion-hit people in the Mekong River Delta’s provinces by Number 1-Tan Hiep Phat Group and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. The filters were part of the Sentimental Fresh Water program.
Each VND 200 million filter can provide 6,000 litres of fresh water a day, sufficient use for around 300 people.
On the occasion of International Children’s Day (June 1st), the group and the youth union organization also gave gifts to 120 disadvantaged children.
