* A statue of late General Secretary of the CPV Truong Chinh was unveiled in Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh province on February 2.

The construction is part of the activities marking the 110th birth anniversary of the late Party General Secretary, who had made great contributions to the national revolutionary cause. It also aims to educate and promote patriotism among the young generation.

* The National Museum of Vietnamese History has just held an exhibition themed “90 years of the Communist Party of Vietnam – historical milestones.” The event features over 200 display items, documents, and photos organized into three topics, namely “the birth of the CPV in 1930,” “Historical milestones (1930-2020),” and “the building of strong Party organizations.” Several rare items such as “Duong Kach Menh” (1927) by Nguyen Ai Quoc or keepsakes of late Party General Secretaries were also on display. The exhibition will open till mid-April 2020.

* The Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony on February 2 to commemorate the 90th founding anniversary of the CPV. At the event, delegates recalled the establishment of the first local Party committee in the past, and highlighted contributions of the local Party organizations to the province’s socio-economic development.

* The Party Committees of the Northwestern provinces of Son La and Lai Chau also organized similar events to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the CPV. The Son La Provincial Party Committee offered incense and laid wreaths to pay tribute to fallen soldiers and late President Ho Chi Minh. Meanwhile, the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee honored outstanding Party organizations and members with great contributions to the Party building, the local socio-economic development and defense-security reinforcement in the 2015-2020 period.

* The Labor Cultural Palace in Ho Chi Minh City launched a photo exhibition highlighting the history of the CPV over the past 90 years and the city’s socio-economic achievements from February 2 to 8.

* The Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened a book exhibition themed “Commemorating the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam” at the Vietnam National Library at No.31 Trang Thi Street, Hanoi.

Around 10,000 displayed books highlighted the foundation of the CPV and its leadership during the national resistance wars against foreign invaders in the past while stressing the significant achievements of the country in the current context.

* On the occasion of the 90th founding anniversary of the CPV, the People’s Army Publishing House has just published a book entitled “Contributing to building morality and culture within the Party” by Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Hai, Head of the Culture and Sports Editorial Section of the People’s Army Newspaper.
