More revolutionary contributors honored
PANO – The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) in Hanoi on December 26 held a ceremony to present certificates honoring the service and contributions of 672 fallen soldiers to their family members.
Addressing the event, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan praised the great contributions made by war martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and their families to the cause of national revolution and defense and affirmed that the Party and State have always paid great attention to these relevant affairs.

She also highly appreciated the efforts of the MOLISA over the past years and asked the relevant agencies to continue to improve policies, towards better taking care of those who had rendered good services to the country.
According to MOLISA Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, up to 9 million people have so far been recognized as revolutionary contributors, including 1.2 million war martyrs, 127,000 heroic mothers, and 800,000 wounded and sick soldiers.
Previously, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs' Day in July, similar certificates were handed over to relatives of 498 fallen soldiers.
