More assistance to the flood-hit people in Binh Dinh province
PANO - On December 23, the Binh Dinh provincial Border Guard Command offered health check-ups and free medicines and gifts to people in flood-hit areas of the province.
During the recent flooding, Phuoc Thang commune of Tuy Phuoc district was the most hardly hit locality in the province with thousands of houses and cattle swept away.

At the event, military doctors from the command collaborated with doctors from the medical station of Phuoc Thang commune provided health-checkups and medicines, worth VND 10 million in total, to nearly 50 locals.
In addition, the command presented 50 gifts, worth VND 800,000 each, to most-affected families along the province's border area while its Youth Union organization handed over 200 gifts, worth VND 100,000 each, to other victims.
Apart from that, border troops also helped locals clean the environment, spray disinfectant to avoid possible contagious diseases, to name but two.
