HCM City honors students with good academic outcomes
PANO – The chapter of the Vietnamese Students' Association in Ho Chi Minh City and the city’s Support Center for Students and Pupils co-organized a ceremony to honor valedictorians on December 4.
The event was held to encourage students to strive for best results while selecting young and qualified human resource for the city’s future development projects.

As many as 79 valedictorians were honored this year. Fourty six of them were valedictorians of the university entrance exam, and 33 were valedictorians having graduated from universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City. This year program honors outstanding students, who have had good academic outcomes, quickly adapted to new conditions, spread learning spirit and proved themselves.
Not only possessing admirable academic results, many valedictorians are also volunteers who actively participated in COVID-19 prevention and control during the recent outbreak in Ho Chi Minh City.
The program has honored 629 outstanding students so far.
