The activities aim to disseminate the revolutionary tradition, patriotism, national pride, sacrifices, and contribution of fallen soldiers and national contributors, thus raising Hanoians’ and local authorities’ awareness of and responsibility in the cause of national construction and defense, especially paying attention to and taking care of wounded and sick soldiers, families of the fallen, and national contributors.

Gratitude activities are expected to draw the participation of all Party members, cadres, youngsters, and people in Hanoi.
Together with visiting and presenting gifts to those who rendered good services to the nation, localities in the city will mobilize all social resources to take better care of them.
The municipal People’s Committee targets to present 3,021 savings books to national contributors, repair 75 works dedicated to fallen soldiers, and finance the repairing and upgrading of 215 houses for national contributors.
The city also strives to ensure basic living standards for all contributors in its localities while providing the best care for all heroic Vietnamese mothers.
Localities in the city will take care of, build or repair houses, and provide necessities to heroic Vietnamese mothers. In addition, they will mobilize agencies, political and social organizations, and businesses to take care of fallen soldiers’ mothers who have recently been honored with the title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother.”
The People’s Committee of the capital city has asked departments, agencies, the Fatherland Front Committees, politico-social organizations, and people’s committees of districts and towns to pay attention to visiting and presenting gifts to national contributors as regulated and strictly deal with violations relating the work.
