Over its 16 years of operation, the program has supported successful heart surgeries for tens of thousands of underprivileged children with congenital heart disease. In Dien Bien province alone, the program has screened 9,000 children and provided VND 1.5 billion in assistance to those from difficult backgrounds.

Within the framework of this two-day free screening program, all children under 18 suspected of having congenital heart disease across Dien Bien province are eligible for free screening and specialist consultations. Children from disadvantaged backgrounds diagnosed with congenital heart disease will receive guidance on completing necessary procedures for potential sponsorship of free surgery through the program.
